Through the combined generosity of our partners and sponsors plus the thousands of cyclists who come to Napa Valley each year for the ride and festival, we have raised in excess of $1,000,000 for our main event beneficiaries and other local non-profit organizations.

V Foundation

The V Foundation Wine Celebration in the Napa Valley is a charitable organization dedicated to saving lives by helping to find cures for cancer. The V Foundation was founded by the legendary basketball coach Jim Valvano in conjunction with ESPN. To date, the V Foundation Wine Celebration has awarded nearly $90 million for cancer research since the inaugural event in 1999.

The V Foundation seeks to make a difference by generating broad-based support for cancer research and by creating an urgent awareness among all Americans of the importance of the war against cancer. The V Foundation performs these roles through advocacy, education, fundraising and philanthropy. 100% of direct cash donations are awarded to cancer research and related programs. Due to generous donors, the Foundation has an endowment that covers administrative expenses. The V Foundation is proud to be in the top 10% of charities to receive Charity Navigator’s highest rating. Received 4-Star Charity Navigator Award for financial health, accountability & transparency.

Enchanted Hills Camp for the Blind

This is the only camp of its kind in the western United States and provides a once a year opportunity for children, adults, and veterans to experience the wonders of nature and the world that most of us see every day. This 300-acre camp is located in the western hills of Napa Valley, along the 50-mile cycle route and offers hiking trails, horseback riding, fishing, swimming, and a variety of other activities for the blind and visually impaired. The camp provides the opportunity for campers to interact and bond with others, to gain self-esteem and to learn skills and techniques that will help them live a much fuller and rewarding life. The funds we raise will guarantee that people of any means will have the opportunity to experience this magical place every year.

Rotary Designated Charities emphasizing care, treatment, and continued education for returning Veterans.

The Pathway Home's in-treatment facility in Yountville, California is no longer serving patients. The Pathway Home continues a mission to serve veterans suffering from P.T.S.D, T.B.I and other post deployment problems by connecting veterans who need treatment and services to a ground breaking program operated out of the Martinez VA in Martinez, California. This program is an intensive in treatment facility modeled after The Pathway Home, known as P.D.A.T. Post Deployment Assessment and Treatment. The Rotary Club of Napa, along with clubs in Brentwood and Martinez have the ability to continue to serve veterans with needs through an intensive and holistic based program while caring for them and helping with their re integration in post deployment life. The Pathway Home continues forward with its mission to help veterans with a "how to guide" for service organizations around the county who wish to get involved with helping veterans adjust to post military life.
