Frequently Asked Questions

Where do Cyclists & Guests check-in?

Cyclists are able to check-in on Friday, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Napa Valley Velo, 195 Gasser Drive, in the Century Theater Shopping Centers.

On Saturday, cyclists can check in as early as 7:00am at our starting location at Justin Siena High School. Check-in and Registration close at 9:30am.

Can someone else check in for me?

For security reasons and to sign our event waiver, every participant must be present at packet pickup on either Friday or Saturday. Along with waiver, you will be given bib number and wristband.

Where do we park?

VIP parking passes for our partners and sponsors allow guests to park in the main Justin Siena lot. All other cyclists will be directed by our parking valet team to spots nearby.

What's the weather like in April?

April mornings can be brisk. We encourage you to bring layers (knee warmers, leg warmers and vests).

What if it rains?

Cycle For Sight will take place rain or shine; however, in the event of a severe storm or inclement weather, authorities may decide to cancel the cycling portion of the event and will make the call at the last minute.

Non-negotiable: this not a question but a statement.

Helmets are required on all of our rides. No helmet, no riding. Ear buds and Headphones are not allowed; we hope you can enjoy the sounds of nature or the conversation of your friends and family – or maybe make a new friend or two.

How many Rest Stops will there be on the course?

Our 50-mile ride has 3 stops.
Our 25-mile ride has 2 stops.
Our 15-mile ride has 1 stop.

Along with food and drink, we will have mechanical and medical support on all 3 routes.

Do all the routes start and finish at the same location?

Yes, all routes start and finish at Justin Siena High School.

Are there mechanics on the course?

We highly encourage all participants to know basic safety and repair skills, including fixing a flat tire. Be prepared and bring your own pump and extra tubes for your bike. However, if you are still unable to make the repair, SAG support cars will be following all ride routes and can assist you with any minor mechanical issue you may have. We also have Bike Marshals on the course who can assist with bike issues.

What if am unable to ride Cycle for Sight? Can I get a refund or do a transfer to another rider?

Unfortunately, we cannot refund your money after you have registered for the event. If you cannot attend, you are able to transfer your Pass. A $25 transfer fee may apply. Please do email us about transferring your Pass: info@ridenapavalley.com
